Java Jaunt at Wetlands Park - Birding in the Park 2-15-2025
Description
The Clark County Wetlands Park covers about 2900 acres running along the Las Vegas Wash. It is home to many of our native species of birds and provides a resting spot for migratory birds as they travel thousands of miles to their destinations. The diverse habit, including natural desert vegetation and abundant water give birds an ideal spot for all types of birds including water fowl, raptors and song birds to live or pass through.
The walk will consist of following paved trails and dirt trails when walking near the Visitor Center. Some walks may meet at the Pabco trailhead, which consists of packed dirt trails. For more information about disability accessability, please read about this location at Audubon's Birdability website HERE.
Registration: All participants must register through the Clark County Parks and Rec system. Register HERE!
