Become a Junior Nature Ambassador This Summer at the Wetlands Park!
Description
Let your child explore outside like never before! The Junior Nature Ambassador Program is a fun, hands-on four-day series for kids ages 6–10. With games, storytelling, nature journaling, bug safaris, and bird walks, this program builds confidence, curiosity, and environmental awareness.
Kids will:

Learn about desert and wetland ecosystems through indoor and outdoor activities

Observe wildlife like lizards, frogs, birds, and butterflies

Craft masks, model bugs, and design desert plants
-
Practice Leave No Trace principles

Celebrate their achievement in a Junior Ambassador Graduation
Each child who completes the 4-day series will receive a Junior Nature Ambassador certificate!

All sessions run Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

PARENT/GUARDIAN ATTENDANCE POLICY
Important: A parent, guardian, or caregiver must attend with their child each day. This is a shared experience—not a drop-off program.
